Effective Date: October 7, 2026
Last Updated: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the “Ads Automation” application (the “Application”). The Application is operated by Shibushi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and is used to manage our own Meta advertising accounts and compare Meta advertising data with Shopify store data.
The Application is currently intended primarily as an internal advertising management tool and does not provide public user registration.
To provide advertising creation, management, and analytics functions, the Application may process the following information through the Meta Marketing API:
Meta business asset information, such as Business Portfolio IDs, advertising account IDs, Facebook Page IDs, Instagram account IDs, and Pixel or dataset IDs.
Advertising object information, such as campaigns, ad sets, ads, advertising creatives, asset names, delivery status, budgets, audience settings, and schedules.
Advertising performance data, such as impressions, reach, clicks, landing-page views, additions to cart, checkouts initiated, purchases, advertising spend, conversion value, cost per acquisition, and return on advertising spend.
Basic information relating to Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts used for advertising.
System-user access tokens and related authorization information required to access Meta APIs.
To compare advertising conversions with store results, the Application may process the following information through the Shopify Admin API:
Order numbers, order creation dates, cancellation status, order value, and currency.
Order traffic sources, landing pages, referring sources, and UTM parameters.
Store domain, store name, and store currency.
Shopify application authorization information.
The Application does not intentionally access or store Shopify customers’ names, telephone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses, or payment card information.
We use the data described above only for the following purposes:
Creating, modifying, pausing, and managing Meta advertisements.
Uploading advertising images and videos and creating advertising creatives.
Retrieving campaign, ad-set, and advertisement performance.
Analyzing conversion funnels, including inbound clicks, additions to cart, checkouts initiated, and purchases.
Comparing Meta attribution data with Shopify order and sales data.
Evaluating advertising performance and providing recommendations regarding budgets, pausing, continued delivery, and creative optimization.
Maintaining task status, operation history, and duplicate-advertisement prevention.
Diagnosing API errors, publishing failures, and data synchronization problems.
Maintaining the security, stability, and normal operation of the Application.
We do not use data obtained through Meta or Shopify for purposes unrelated to those described in this Privacy Policy.
The Application primarily operates in a local environment controlled by the operator.
Meta and Shopify access credentials are stored in local server-side configuration. They are not intentionally stored in ordinary browser storage or publicly displayed to other users.
The Application may store advertising tasks, templates, creation results, advertising object IDs, operation records, and error information in a local database. These records are retained until they have fulfilled their business purpose, are manually deleted by the operator, or are no longer necessary.
Shopify order-comparison data is normally retrieved temporarily when an analysis is requested. Except for temporary processing required to complete the analysis, the Application does not retain this information for the purpose of creating long-term customer profiles.
When information is no longer required, the related authorization is withdrawn, or a valid deletion request is received, we will delete or anonymize the relevant information within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by applicable law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data obtained through the Application.
To operate the Application, relevant information may be transmitted to or processed by:
Meta Platforms, for advertising creation, management, authorization, and performance reporting.
Shopify, for retrieving order, sales, and traffic-source information.
Service providers that supply necessary infrastructure, security maintenance, or technical support, but only to the extent required to provide those services.
We may also disclose necessary information when required by applicable law, a lawful regulatory request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the legal rights and interests of the Application, its users, or other persons.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data, including:
Storing access tokens and application secrets in server-side environment configuration.
Restricting system users to explicitly assigned business assets.
Requesting only the Meta and Shopify permissions required for the Application to operate.
Avoiding the display of complete access tokens in front-end pages, public source code, or logs.
Applying authorization checks, error records, and duplicate-prevention controls to advertising creation tasks.
Reviewing and revoking access tokens and asset authorizations that are no longer required.
Although we take reasonable protective measures, no method of electronic storage or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Subject to applicable law, an affected person may contact us to request:
Confirmation of whether we process data relating to that person.
Access to, correction of, or updating of relevant data.
Deletion of relevant data.
Restriction of or objection to particular processing activities.
Withdrawal of previously provided authorization, without affecting processing lawfully performed before withdrawal.
The right to submit a complaint to a competent data protection authority.
To request deletion of data associated with the Application, send an email to:
support@shibushi.shop
Use the following email subject:
“Ads Automation Data Deletion Request”
Please include:
The name of the relevant Facebook Page, Instagram account, advertising account, or business asset.
Information that will help us identify the relevant data.
The categories of data you would like us to delete.
Contact information through which we can respond to the request.
Do not send Meta access tokens, application secrets, passwords, or payment information by email.
After verifying the requester’s relationship with the relevant business asset, we will process the deletion request within a reasonable period, normally no longer than 30 days. If applicable law requires us to retain certain records, we will explain why those records cannot be deleted immediately and provide the expected retention period.
Users may also revoke the Application’s asset permissions or access tokens through Meta Business Settings. Once authorization is revoked, the Application will no longer be able to access the corresponding Meta business assets.
The Application is an internal tool intended for advertising and e-commerce business operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
Meta, Shopify, or relevant technical service providers may process data outside the country or region in which a user is located. Where required, we will take reasonable measures to protect such data in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the relevant service platforms.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Application, platform requirements, or applicable laws and regulations.
The updated version will be published on this page, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will be revised.
If a change materially affects how data is processed, we will provide notice through the Application or by another reasonable method where appropriate.
